Rebecca Miles Risser, M.M., M.A., CCC-SLP, is one of the few certified speech language pathologists specializing in voice therapy in Central Indiana.

The director of Performance Voice Solutions specializes in treating the professional voice, including elite singers, teachers, salespeople and ministers. She also evaluates and treats a variety of nonprofessional voices. Conditions include neurological, degenerative and nonorganic voice disorders.

Her passion for voice began with an extensive operatic background as a lyric soprano and voice instructor.  Rebecca continues to make time to sing with community organizations.

She works closely with Northside ENT board certified otolaryngologists as well as other laryngologists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists and asthma/allergy specialists.

Rebecca has given presentations for the following:

Rebecca completed her bachelor of arts degree in fine arts at Judson College in Elgin, Illinois in 1987. She then earned a master of music degree in vocal performance and pedagogy at Northern Illinois University in 1990.

Later, she finished a master’s degree in speech language pathology, graduating from Indiana University in 2000.

Originally from Sturgis, Michigan, Rebecca is married to Jerry Risser, DVM. They have three children, Jameson, Laine and Lydia.
